NORTH CAROLINA BUILDING LICENSE

Basic Information

This Building Contractor License will allow a Contractor to perform Commercial and Residential Construction in North Carolina.

This Building License will not prepare you to take the NC Residential License Examination even though it will cover this classification.

The Trades Portion of this License will reciprocate with South Carolina and  Tennessee (Business and Law will still be required in those States).

The Cost for the General Contractor Building License Study Manual with Permanent Tabs and Webinars (Note: Beginning in January 2025 classes will be Online in Modules and will be accessible at any time) is $ 400.00. This fee is good for 12 months.

You will receive a Notebook of Study Materials with all of the areas that need to be highlighted in the 8 required books and permanent tabs that are allowed in the PSI Testing Facility. Exam questions for the 8 required books and all of the reference books used. I have around 1000 study and practice questions to help you study and prepare for this test.

Estimating, Calculations and Blue Print Questions that will assist you when actually taking the test. These questions are very similar to the actual questions you will see on the test.

We have Live Webinars for this license and each Live Webinar is recorded and posted on DropBox and students will be allowed to view entire class.

Note: Beginning in January 2025 we will discontinue Live Webinars and Class will be recorded in Modules so students can access just the areas that they are interested in. These modules will be posted on DropBox and access will be good for one year from original purchase.

We receive updated information almost daily from students who have taken the exam recently. Before you actually take the test, we keep you informed of all of this new information plus any book changes that occur by email.
